Travel Clinic
Advice on precautions needed for
foreign travel and immunisations required is available from the practice nurse
and all vaccines are stocked in the practice.
We are also a designated centre
for Yellow Fever immunisations.
Well Woman and
Cytology (Smear) Clinic
We regularly hold well woman clinics
and appointments can be made with one of our doctors or practice nurses.
Well Man Clinic
Appointments can be made for a general
health check (blood pressure etc), including advice on diet, smoking and alcohol
consumption etc.
Stop Smoking Clinic
If you would like help to stop smoking,
an appointment can be made with one of our practice nurses.
Antenatal Clinic
The antenatal clinic is held on
Tuesday afternoons from 2.00pm and our midwife, Barbara Haiselden,
is in attendance at this time.
Family Planning
A full family planning service is
offered at the practice including the fitting of caps and coils.
Immunisations
Appointments for immunisations against
tetanus can be arranged at any time. Also, special clinics are set up each autumn
for vaccination against influenza and pneumonia.
Minor Surgery
Certain minor operations can be
arranged at the surgery and the doctor will discuss this with you.
Diabetic, Asthma,
Hypertension And Heart Disease Clinics
Clinics are run each week by our
practice nurses and the receptionists can arrange an appointment for you.
